Shootin Stars through the Rejuvenation Machine

...Ya know what kills me? This "Rejuvenation Machine" Jason Kidd bandwagon everyone's been jumpin on... Bah... It's crap... Pure crap... Enough with all the "whys" already... Look, flat out- Steph never got to play with a team this good... The Nets lost 345 total games to injury last year... Quick quiz: Who were the Nets' starting shooting guard and center last season? Hmmm? Don't know? Luscious Harris and Jim McIlvaine!! Who does Kidd get? A fully healthy Kerry Kittles, running and dunking and shooting like he didn't miss a day, alongside Todd McCulloch, who can actually score and rebound and finish a fast break... Kenyon Martin is fully recovered from a twice broken leg, and playing up to 1st pick status... But what about Van Horn you ask? Kidd's making him a better player? ...Van Horn is down in nearly every statistical catergory, and with a "pass-first" (mainly because our dear ason has no J) point guard at the helm... That's some kinda improvement... For all of JKidd's hype, he's never got a team out of the first round... Sure Starbury didn't get there, but look at MJ with the Wiz- with that team, all he has is playoff hopes... The injury merely furthers my point... Now that he's out, the Wiz will tank faster than the PLO can supply them... Ask yourself this question- replace Steph's 20 and 8 with the 10 and 5 of an average point, and where are the Nets of the last three years... What's that? Worse than the Bulls? Bingo... Steph'll take Phoneix every bit as far as the Rejuvenation machine could've, and were he in the Swamp right now, and Van Horn weren't such a bitch, Marbury would be playin for the eastern conference come April... The Nets traded the wrong guy... That's my word... Just don't come cryin when the Nets are sitting at home after Round 1... Ya heard it here first...
